Woman and Two Children Hit by Vehicle in Santa Fe, Driver Sought
A woman and two children were struck by a vehicle in Santa Fe on Tuesday, and the driver fled the scene, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Paseo de Nopal, with deputies receiving the call at 6:10 p.m. The victims, a 40-year-old woman and two children, ages 8 and 12, were transported to the hospital for treatment. The children were later released, but the woman remains in critical condition as of Wednesday morning.
Deputies located a vehicle they believe was involved, a 2005 Chevy Equinox, parked at Paseo de La Tierra and Estrada Calabasa. The vehicle had front-end damage and matched the description of the one reportedly seen fleeing the scene.
