ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Looking for ways to spend your Labor Day? Here’s a guide to what’s open and closed on Monday, September 2.
What’s Open:
- Nature and Outdoor Spots:
- ABQ BioPark Zoo, Aquarium, and Botanic Garden
- Petroglyph National Monument
- Rio Grande Nature Center
- Indoor Attractions:
- Explora
- National Museum of Nuclear Science and History
- New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science
- Events:
- The New Mexico Harvest Wine Festival will be held at Balloon Fiesta Park from noon to 6 p.m. Enjoy unlimited wine tastings from top New Mexico wineries, a dueling piano show, a vendor marketplace, and food trucks. Tickets are $25 at the gate, with access to all festival activities and a Viva Vino wine glass. Attendees must be 21 or older, and pets are not allowed.
- Power Ford is hosting a Labor Day car show featuring over 200 cars and trucks, food trucks, music, bounce houses, face painting, and games. Admission is free.
