SNAP: Will you get a decrease after the 2025 COLA in your Food Stamps payments in October?
According to Vibes Okdiario, Starting October 1, 2024, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits will experience adjustments across the United States and its territories. While most states will see an increase in SNAP benefits due to the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), there is a notable exception for Hawaii, which will see a decrease in its maximum benefit amounts.
Decrease in SNAP Benefits for Hawaii

- 8 members: up to $3,102
- 7 members: up to $2,714
- 6 members: up to $2,456
- 5 members: up to $2,046
- 4 members: up to $1,723
- 3 members: up to $1,357
- 2 members: up to $948
- 1 person: up to $517
- Each additional person: $388
