SNAP Payment Schedule for Maine and Massachusetts

In Maine, SNAP benefit distribution is based on the last digit of the recipient’s birthdate:

  • Birthdate ends in 0 or 9: Benefits available on the 10th
  • Birthdate ends in 1 or 8: Benefits available on the 11th
  • Birthdate ends in 2 or 3: Benefits available on the 12th
  • Birthdate ends in 4 or 7: Benefits available on the 13th
  • Birthdate ends in 5 or 6: Benefits available on the 14th

In Massachusetts, SNAP benefits are distributed according to the last digit of the recipient’s Social Security Number (SSN):

  • SSN ends in 4: Benefits available on the 7th
  • SSN ends in 5: Benefits available on the 8th
  • SSN ends in 6: Benefits available on the 10th
  • SSN ends in 7: Benefits available on the 11th
  • SSN ends in 8: Benefits available on the 13th
  • SSN ends in 9: Benefits available on the 14th
