The Real Housewives of New York City are set to make a grand return for season 2, and fans are eagerly anticipating all the juicy drama that the Big Apple promises. When does the new season premiere, and what feuds should viewers brace themselves for?

When Does ‘RHONY’ Season 2 Premiere?

Mark your calendars for October 1, 2024, as spooky season kicks off with the drama-filled season 2 premiere of RHONY.

New Faces and Familiar Names Join the Cast

The original members of the RHONY reboot—Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank, Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, and Sai de Silva—are all returning for the new season. Alongside these powerful and outspoken women, rookie Housewife Racquel Chevremont and “friend of” Rebecca Minkoff are set to join the fray, though it seems their introduction might not be entirely smooth.

In the trailer released on August 13, 2024, Brynn throws shade at the new addition, Rebecca Minkoff, asking a friend, “Rebecca Minkoff, have you heard of her?” before adding, “If you were just at Nordstrom Rack, you probably saw her stuff.”

Rebecca, not one to back down, defended her career during a lunch with Erin, stating, “Whatever, I built a $100 million company,” to which Erin enthusiastically responded, “Yeah, good for you.” After Bravo officially announced her as part of the cast, Rebecca shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, “If you didn’t know, now ya do. #RHONY,” along with her solo and cast photos.

Racquel Chevremont, the other new addition, finds common ground with Jenna, as she too was once married to a man and is now openly a lesbian. Brynn describes Racquel, a model and art curator, as “the LeBron of the art world.”

The Drama Heats Up in ‘RHONY’ Season 2

Last season, Sai’s aggressive confrontations with Jessel left her less approachable in the eyes of fans. This season, she turns her sharp tongue toward Jenna, telling her to “f–k off” after Jenna mentions she heard Sai had started therapy. The trailer then shows Jenna and Brynn discussing Sai, with Brynn noting she hasn’t “seen any growth” or “change.”

The tension escalates when Sai storms out of a party, yelling, “Not today, Satan! Not today,” leaving viewers on edge.

From Friends to Frenemies

Season 1 saw Ubah and Brynn as close friends, but their relationship has since taken a sharp turn. The buzzword of season 2 is “pigeon,” the term Ubah uses to describe Brynn.

During a group gathering, Ubah yells across the pool at Brynn, “Darling, go Google my name.” Brynn, not one to be outdone, takes a dig at Ubah’s modeling career, implying she’s no Gisele Bündchen or Naomi Campbell. Ubah quickly fires back, “Naomi wish! Gisele wish!”

The tension only escalates as the scene shifts to a group brunch where Ubah accuses Brynn of being “a snake.” The insults fly further at a pajama party, echoing their heated exchanges from season 1. In one shocking moment, Brynn provocatively asks, “I sucked d–k to get a job?” The comment is seemingly directed at Ubah, who storms out, yelling at Brynn while shading her as a “Dress Barn” model.

With all this drama brewing, season 2 of RHONY promises to be one for the books.
