Brazilian football player Neymar Junior recently sent him a private message on Instagram, according to Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso, who was reportedly expelled from the Paris Olympics 2024 village. Alonso’s admission comes the day after it was rumored that she was expelled from the Summer Games village by the organizing committee for allegedly causing a “inappropriate atmosphere”. The 20-year-old, who didn’t provide many details, claimed to be a big fan of the former Brazil captain and snuck into her direct messages on the Paraguayan radio program Aire de Todos.

Regarding her purported banishment from the Olympic Games Village, Alonso clarified that she was never taken out of or banished from any place, advising people to “cease disseminating misleading information.”

Al Hilal’s coach announced on Tuesday that Neymar will miss the beginning of the upcoming Saudi Pro League season while he heals from a major knee injury. Despite missing a significant portion of the current season due to an injury sustained in October, the Brazilian forward helped Al Hilal win the league earlier this month for a record-tying 19th time. The former Barcelona and PSG player will also miss the Copa America next month, as the Saudi league normally begins in August.

During the preseason, Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus told reporters, “All I know right now is that the time given to Neymar to recover and with similar injuries it is approximately from 10 to 11 months.”

November saw surgery in Brazil for the 32-year-old Neymar to repair meniscus damage and a damaged anterior cruciate ligament.

After tumbling into an opponent during Brazil’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying loss to Uruguay in October, he was carried off the field in tears.

In 2023, Neymar moved from PSG to Al Hilal, becoming the most recent high-profile player to be signed by the wealthy Saudi Pro League.

In Saudi Arabia, he receives 100 million euros a season, and PSG also received 100 million euros from the agreement.
