According to Vibes Okdiario, Recipients of Social Security retirement, SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance), and SSI (Supplemental Security Income) benefits can check when their next payments are due. This allows them to arrange their monthly expenses and budget accurately.

Upcoming Payments for SSDI and Retirement Beneficiaries

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has confirmed that the next payment for beneficiaries of SSDI and retirement will be issued on September 25. This payment will be for those who did not qualify for the previous distributions on September 3, 11, or 18.

SSI Recipients: Payment Schedule

If you are receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you will need to wait until October for your payment. However, SSI checks and direct deposits will be delivered on October 1, so the wait is brief.

Payment Amounts for Social Security Benefits

It’s important to note that these monthly payments will not include the 2025 COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) increase, meaning the maximum amounts for retirement, SSI, and SSDI remain unchanged.

  • Average Social Security retirement benefits: $1,920
  • Average SSDI payments: Approximately $1,539 (almost $1,540)
  • Maximum SSI amounts: Up to $943 for individuals and $1,415 for married couples, averaging about $698 for all recipients.

Retirees can potentially receive the largest benefit payments, reaching up to $4,873, though few American workers attain this amount. SSDI recipients may receive up to $3,822, similar to retirees filing at Full Retirement Age.
