According to Krqe, The New Mexico State Fair is set to take place in Albuquerque from September 5 to 15. Whether you plan to attend solo or with the family, there are various transportation options to get you to the fairgrounds. Here’s a guide to help you choose the best way to arrive:

Driving:

  • Directions: Take I-40 and exit at either San Mateo or Louisiana. The fairgrounds are located at 300 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
  • Parking: Only right-hand turns will be allowed to enter the fairgrounds for parking.

Biking:

  • Bike Access: For those opting to bike, a bike map is available on the fair’s website. Bikers can enter through Gate 4, where valet services will be provided to securely park your bike while you enjoy the fair. More details can be found on the fair’s website.

Public Transportation:

  • Park and Ride: Available from Coronado Center. Service is offered on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with return rides until midnight. On Sunday, Park and Ride runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
  • Bus Service: You can take the 766 Red Line to a bus stop located at Louisiana and Lomas.
