New Mexico Municipal League Conference in Clovis: What to Expect and How to Get Involved
The City of Clovis is set to host the New Mexico Municipal League’s annual conference from Wednesday through Friday, with approximately 400 government officials from across the state expected to attend.
The conference, organized by the New Mexico Municipal League—a nonprofit, nonpartisan association that represents cities, towns, and villages in New Mexico—will feature a variety of sessions and activities. On Tuesday, attendees will participate in a Community Service Project at the Salvation Army. Throughout the conference, business sessions will be held at the Clovis Civic Center, addressing various aspects of government operations. There will also be subsection committee meetings and business discussions.
Additionally, Wednesday evening will include events designed to highlight Clovis’ downtown district.
Clovis Mayor Michael Morris expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “The City of Clovis looks forward to welcoming governmental officials from throughout the state and showcasing our community. We have many important topics to discuss, including resolutions for the 2025 legislative session.”
