“New Mexico Law Enforcement Joins National Drug Take Back Day”
The Roswell Police Department is offering residents a chance to safely dispose of unwanted prescription drugs during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The event will take place on October 26 at Walgreens on Main Street, starting at 10 a.m. Vape devices will also be accepted, provided the batteries have been removed.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office will hold a similar event on the same day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 35 Camino Justicia. Meanwhile, the Rio Rancho Police Department will host its drug takeback event from 8 a.m. to noon at 500 Quantum Rd.
