Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is scheduled to speak on health care at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago on Tuesday, according to a statement from her office.

While the exact time of her address was not specified, the governor’s office highlighted her previous role as New Mexico’s state secretary of health under former Governor Bill Richardson. Lujan Grisham, who serves as a delegate for New Mexico at the DNC, will be accompanied by three staff members, with their travel expenses covered by her political action committee.

In addition to her speech, Lujan Grisham will participate in a panel discussion featuring other Democratic female governors.
