If you’re a beneficiary of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, you may still be waiting for your monthly payment. Maximum SNAP Benefit Amounts for Families of Four
A family of four can receive up to $973 in monthly SNAP benefits if living in one of the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia. However, not all families qualify for the maximum benefit, and amounts can vary significantly. According to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), the average payment for a family of four is approximately $713. Larger families can receive up to $1,751 if they have eight or more members.
