Lindsay Hubbard, star of “Summer House,” responds to rumors that she’s expecting: ‘I’m Not Pregnant’
Rumors about Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard being pregnant have been circulating on social media, but Lindsay herself addressed these speculations during her June 4 appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.
“That’s just insane. No, I’m not pregnant,” Lindsay, 37, confirmed to podcast host Amanda Hirsch. “They even said it about Amanda [Batula] back in March.”
When Hirsch, 36, inquired if her co-star Amanda Batula was pregnant, Lindsay clarified that Batula was not, as she had recently been with Amanda in Portugal and Mexico.
The following day, Variety announced the cast for The Traitors season 3, which included Lindsay’s Summer House co-star Ciara Miller. However, gossip site DeuxMoi claimed that Ciara, 28, wasn’t the initial choice for the role and that Lindsay had originally been cast.
The anonymous tip on DeuxMoi read, “It looks like one bubbly Bravo star’s attempt to deceive went flat faster than a glass of day-old prosecco. This summer stunner thought she could hide a little secret in the realm of deceit, but when a certain Bravo dame caught wind, she went berserk and alerted producers. Once this pretty little liar was exposed, she was cut from the show and replaced by someone she not only shared a room with but also a beau. Guess honesty is the best policy, even when playing games.”
Fans quickly speculated that Dorinda Medley, who was also cast in The Traitors season 3, might have revealed Lindsay’s alleged pregnancy. Additionally, with Ciara’s casting, viewers noted that both Lindsay and Ciara had previously dated Southern Charm star Austen Kroll.
These pregnancy rumors come in the wake of Summer House season 8’s reunion, which showcased the dramatic breakup between Lindsay and her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke. Carl, 39, had proposed to Lindsay during Summer House season 7, but their split became public in September 2023.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Lindsay expressed her heartbreak over the breakup: “I want to start by thanking everyone for giving me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve not only the loss of my relationship but also my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for eight years. The past two weeks have been incredibly painful and emotional. My entire life and future felt like they were taken away from me, and I’m struggling to make sense of it all, without answers or closure. I feel humiliated by the way things ended and am heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult.”
Lindsay continued, “This decision was not mine, and I disagree with ending a relationship of this magnitude without trying everything possible first. I have spent the last few weeks seeking my own closure and peace. I’m eternally grateful to my best friends who have stood by me and helped me through this challenging time. I’m still grieving and processing what has happened, but I wanted to update you all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the support from my friends, family, cast mates, and all of you who have helped me get through this.”
