According to Vibes Okdiario, If you are receiving SNAP benefits in the United States and have not yet received your monthly payment, it’s important to check the upcoming paydays. Food Stamps will continue to be sent through September 28, 2024.

Factors Influencing SNAP Benefit Amounts

The amount of your SNAP benefits will depend on several factors, including your earnings, household size, and other criteria. In the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia, the maximum benefit amount is $1,751 for a household of 8.

Final SNAP Payments in September

According to the USDA’s payment schedule, 17 states will be sending out the last Food Stamps in September, while 33 states have already completed their distributions.

States like New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington will finish sending SNAP benefits by September 20. In contrast, Texas and Florida will take longer, with their payments extending until September 28.

SNAP Benefits Before the 2025 COLA Increase

If you qualify for the maximum amount and have a household of 5, you could receive up to $1,155. A single person can receive up to $291, with an average payment of about $202.

For a family of 3, the maximum benefit is $766, while married couples or households of 2 could receive up to $535. Keep in mind that these payments are sent to EBT cards, which can be used at eligible farmer markets, grocery stores, and retailers. Always check if your shopping location accepts EBT cards and what items are SNAP-eligible, as there are restrictions on purchases.

Future SNAP Benefit Amounts

These maximum amounts will remain unchanged until September 30, 2024. Following the 2025 COLA boost, SNAP benefits will increase starting on October 1, 2024. Here are the future amounts:
