Lainey Wilson “noticed a few videos of my butt” becoming viral when she was surfing through TikTok. As one commentator put it, “just the backyard instead of the front,” fans compared her to country music icon Dolly Parton. Lainey laughed, despite having spent years trying to make a name for herself as a singer. “I’m cool with it that my booty introduced my music to a lot of people,” she remarked.
The current ACM and CMA female entertainer of the year has always been proud of her curves, which she accentuates with her signature bell-bottoms. But when her career took off, she understood that she needed to improve her health in order to have more stamina for her 90-minute shows. The singer of “Never Say Never” claims that it’s more like “20 pounds,” and “hell no,” she didn’t use any sort of magical supplement to lose them.
“It’s crucial for me to nourish my body with foods that elevate my mood,” she has stated of her latest weight loss regimen.
“I believe that’s why I have somewhat slimmed down—I’m essentially at that point in the marathon.”
When she is back in Louisiana, the once-picky eater cooks her meals if she can, and while on tour and filming Yellowstone, she asks for snacks like cheese, hummus, nuts, and beef jerky. She does, however, acknowledge that she eats chocolate “every single day.”
In the end, Lainey declared, “I want to feel well, look good, and be in this for the long run. Additionally, I want to be able to glance in the mirror and feel confident and upbeat when I say, “Look good.”
