Josh and Christina Hall’s Divorcing Drama: Offered Estranged Husband Josh Hall a ‘7-Figure Settlement’ But He Declined
Josh Hall and Christina Hall are divorcing, and things are becoming ugly in their divorce. Josh apparently turned down a sizable financial offer from the HGTV celebrity.
On Wednesday, August 1, Josh, 44, shared a picture of a sculpture that spelled out the word “hope” on his Instagram Story. The Los Angeles realtor’s snapshot was screenshotted by Christina, 41, the next day, and she reshared it on her own Facebook along with a snarky note.
The Flip or Flop former cast member stated on Thursday, August 2, “I ‘HOPE’ she pays me millions more than what she’s already offered me.”
Page Six was informed by a source that Christina never gave Josh the “millions” she alluded to.
“She did not make him an offer of millions,” the source informed the newspaper. They are not even in the midst of discussions. Christina can submit it in writing via her attorney if she is genuinely promising him millions of dollars.
The star of Christina on the Coast, according to a different source close to her, “offered a seven-figure settlement through his attorneys and he declined it,” the tabloid was informed. According to the informant, Josh thought the offer was “too low.”
Christina recently claimed that Josh had taken $35,000 out of her personal bank account without her knowledge, which is the most recent development in the dramatic divorce story between her and Josh.
“Josh managed to transfer more than $35,000 of my independent property rental earnings into his account,” Christina claimed in court records that Entertainment Tonight was able to access. “Since those monies are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties, I am asking Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me.”
Christina in the Country actress claimed that on July 8, Josh got in touch with the manager of the rental houses she owned in Franklin and Nashville, Tennessee. She included a screenshot, according to Entertainment Tonight, of the text message Josh made to the property manager, which said, “Hello. When the June payments are due, may you perhaps have them routed to a separate account? I’m grateful. Christina continued by saying that she didn’t learn about Josh’s contact with the unnamed property manager until July 21.
Josh’s usage of the term “we” in the text message infuriated the Flip or Flop Followup host since it suggested that she was aware of the communication going on and that she and Josh were both asking for the deposits to be moved. Since Christina had “no personal contact with Josh on July 8,” she insisted that the statement was untrue.
Christina allegedly stated in the court filing, “I would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
According to Life & Style, Josh was the first person in Orange County, California, to file for divorce on July 16. He gave the excuse “irreconcilable differences” for his request. He petitioned for spousal support and asked for Christina’s right to alimony to be terminated.
On July 17, Christina filed a follow-up motion asking for the termination of both parties’ claim to spousal support.
