Gorgeous swimmer Luana Alonso has spoken out in response to rumors that she was removed from the Paris Olympics for causing a “inappropriate atmosphere.”

The 20-year-old Paraguayan athlete said she was the victim of “lies” when rumors circulated that she had been kicked out of the Paris 2024 Athletes’ Village due to her actions and her visitation of Disneyland.

Alonso was accused of “distracting” other athletes in the Athletes’ Village by dressing sexily instead of in her official Olympic suit.

Alonso’s actions infuriated the Paraguayan Olympic Committee’s leaders, who reportedly kicked her out and sent her back home.

According to Team Paraguay’s lead spokesperson Larissa Schaerer, her presence is fostering an unsuitable environment.

“We thank her for proceeding as instructed, as it was of her own free will that she did not spend the night in the Athletes’ Village.”

Alonso, however, insisted that she was never banished or removed from the nation’s Olympic campaign and pleaded with people not to propagate the false story.

She stated on social media, “Please stop spreading false information, I just wanted to clarify that I was never kicked out or expelled from anywhere.”

“I don’t want to make any statement but I’m not going to let lies affect me either.”

Instead of staying to encourage teammates, the local media says Alonso went to Disneyland after spending the night out in Paris.

She even made reservations at a hotel in the French capital and went to upscale eateries and shops.

Following her narrow 0.24-second loss in the women’s 100-meter butterfly heats during the Summer Games, Alonso declared her retirement at the end of her career.

She announced to her 310,000 Instagram followers following the race that “it’s official now! I’m giving up swimming; I appreciate your support so much.

“I only have to say thank you, Paraguay. I’m sorry!”

The famous swimmer hasn’t, however, confirmed that she has left France.

The 17-year-old competitor at the Tokyo Games, Alonso, is adamant that she didn’t resign impulsively.

“People. I made up my mind a long time ago,” she exclaimed. It had nothing to do with the Games!

“So nothing, I just have to thank everyone who always supported me.”

But according to a recent revelation by the Paraguayan media outlet HOY, Alonso had already declared she would rather represent the United States—long before the Paris Olympics ever got underway.

She was also overheard stating that returning to Texas, USA, would be preferable to returning home.

“I want to represent the United States more,” she declared.

“It’s not a pleasure to represent Paraguay and if it were up to me, I would go back to college.”

Her unexpected retirement follows the dismissal of 22-year-old Brazilian Olympian Ana Carolina Vieira from the team for allegedly sneaking out of the athletes’ village late at night with her lover.

According to Brazilian media, Vieira and her swimming partner Gabriel Santos slipped out of the Olympic Village for a night out in Paris.

The Brazilian Olympic Committee reportedly sent her home after she became “disrespectful and aggressive” for it.
