Flash Flood Warning Issued for Parts of New Mexico
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for portions of New Mexico on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. The alert is in effect for the South Fork Burn Scar area in Lincoln County and will remain active until 3:45 p.m.
The warning affects several areas, including Eagle Creek, Cedar Creek, and Highways 48 and 70. Other impacted locations are Main Road, Paradise Canyon Road, Gavilan Canyon Road, the area along the Rio Ruidoso, and communities such as Ruidoso, Ruidoso Downs, Alto, Glencoe, and Hollywood. Residents in these areas are advised to be vigilant and take necessary precautions to stay safe during this weather event.
