“East San Jose Laundromat Accident: Car Crash Under Investigation”
A car crashed into a laundromat in East San Jose on Friday morning, authorities reported.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of Tully Road, according to police. Footage from the scene showed the vehicle partially inside the Tully Wash and Dry laundromat, with shattered glass scattered across the ground.
Police identified the driver as a woman, who was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, no one inside the laundromat was hurt.
Claudia Robledo, the manager of Tully Wash and Dry, noted that customers had narrowly avoided being struck. “Thank you God nobody got injured,” she said.
The incident remains under investigation.
