Donald Trump’s Jet Diverted to Billings Due to Mechanical Issue on Way to Montana Rally
On Friday, when the former president Donald Trump was enroute to a rally in Montana, his jet experienced an anomaly.
According to the Associated Press, a mechanical problem forced the jet to be diverted from Bozeman, Montana, but it made a safe landing at Billings Logan International Airport. The incident was confirmed by a Billings airport employee.
The former president planned to attend a 10 p.m. event in Bozeman, Montana, which is approximately 140 miles west of Billings, in favor of Republican Senate candidate Tim Sheehy.
An airport representative informed The New York Post, “His aircraft had mechanical issues, and he was diverted into the Billings-Logan Airport.” They said, “He’s taking a private jet to Bozeman.”
In a video uploaded to Truth Social at approximately 5:30 p.m., Trump’s campaign verified that the former president had touched down in the state; however, it made no reference to the technical difficulties that were reportedly causing him to arrive late.

In Montana, we enjoy a very good reputation. We are quite well-liked. They appeal to me. They find me appealing. In the video message, Trump went on to announce his plans to make stops over the weekend in several states.
