“Cool Front Arrives Tuesday with Windy Conditions: 9-Day Forecast”
In May, I planted vegetables, peppers, and tomatoes in my Aunt Patsy’s garden in Alamogordo. I recently visited her, and to my surprise – wow! We harvested a huge zucchini! We sliced it up and grilled it with olive oil and garlic – it was absolutely delicious. I guess all this summer heat has been good for something!
Tonight’s Weather: Clear skies are expected with light and variable winds ranging from calm to 10 mph. The low will be 66 degrees, and by early morning, winds will start shifting east as a cool front moves in.
Forecast: Tuesday will be sunny, but expect windy conditions as a cool front pushes through. The high will be 90 degrees, with east winds blowing at 10-25 mph and stronger gusts on the west slopes of the mountains. Wednesday will be sunny and beautiful, with a high of 87 and light, variable winds. Thursday will warm up again to 90 degrees with light winds. On Friday, another “cool” front will bring windy conditions to the west slopes, with a high of 89. Saturday will be sunny and cooler, reaching 87 degrees, and Sunday will be mild and lovely with a high of 87.
