October 2024 CalFresh Payment Schedule

CalFresh payment dates are determined by the last digit of the recipient’s case number. Benefits are loaded onto EBT cards between the 1st and 10th of each month, based on the final number in your case. Here is the payment schedule for October 2024:

  • October 1: Case numbers ending in 1
  • October 2: Case numbers ending in 2
  • October 3: Case numbers ending in 3
  • October 4: Case numbers ending in 4
  • October 5: Case numbers ending in 5
  • October 6: Case numbers ending in 6

How to Apply for CalFresh Benefits

To apply for CalFresh benefits, you can complete an application online at the Get CalFresh website or contact the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) at (866) 613-3777. After submitting your application, you will be scheduled for an eligibility interview, and if approved, you’ll receive your EBT card within 10 days.
