According to Hellomagazine, You might not expect to see Brooke Shields sporting a hairnet and working a shift at your local pizzeria, but what might surprise you even more is witnessing her get a drink thrown in her face.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, sparking widespread speculation among fans about what led to the split. Many are now pointing to a shocking incident from last year as the potential breaking point.

In May 2023, the celebrity couple went viral after a tense moment where Ben, visibly annoyed and now 52, slammed the car door behind Jennifer, now 55. This incident left many wondering if their relationship was already on shaky ground.

Meanwhile, Brooke Shields recently took to Instagram to share her astonishment over a bizarre experience—getting water splashed in her face while a pizza box tumbled from her hands. Fortunately, the incident was part of a scripted prank on the popular show Impractical Jokers. In the clip, Brooke’s jaw dropped as the water hit her, and the show’s star, Brian Quinn, quickly tried to explain his actions. “I’ll tell you why I did it…” he began, pausing for the show’s voiceover to supply the reason. “I said smile more, she didn’t, and now we’re here,” he concluded, following Sal Vulcano’s instructions.

Playing along, Brooke retorted, “You don’t get to tell a woman how she’s supposed to feel, you [expletive]!” She wiped the water from her face and added, “You ruined this guy’s [expletive] pizza, so get him a new one.”

Despite the light-hearted setup, onlookers in the pizzeria were less amused. One man in a biker helmet voiced his disapproval, saying, “That’s [expletive] up, man, you’re lucky I’m at work right now.” Sal Vulcano and James Murray, both in on the prank, could be heard laughing in the background at the bystander’s passionate defense of Brooke.

Brian, still trying to gauge the room, asked, “So nobody’s with me on this?” The biker quickly shut him down, saying, “Nope, go outside, man.” Brooke, still shocked by the unexpected defense, continued kneading pizza dough as Brian exited the restaurant.

This episode marked Brooke’s return to the hidden-camera reality show, and she humorously captioned the Instagram clip, “Thanks for the soggy pizza and shower,” adding, “Always a blast with these guys!! Catch me on @impracticaljokersofficial this Thursday at 10pm ET on @tbsnetwork!”

The comedic moment provided a brief respite for Brooke as she prepares for a significant life change—becoming an empty nester. She already experienced the bittersweet moment of dropping off her daughter Rowan Henchy at college in 2021, and now her younger daughter, Grier, is set to begin her freshman year. Reflecting on the upcoming milestone, Brooke admitted, “I’m not quite in denial, but I’m definitely going to be a mess.” She emphasized, “I really am going to be a mess.”
