Who Will Receive SSDI Payments on September 25?
Only SSDI recipients with birthdates between the 21st and 31st of any month will receive their next payment on September 25, 2024. If your birthdate falls before the 21st, you are not eligible for this payment.
Additionally, you will not receive an SSDI payment on September 25 if you are also receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Those who started collecting benefits before May 1997 are also ineligible for this payment date.
Average and Maximum SSDI Payment Amounts
The average payment for SSDI beneficiaries on September 25 is around $1,539. However, high earners may receive up to $3,822 from Social Security. The exact payment amount depends on several factors, including the payroll taxes you paid as a worker, your filing age, and the number of years you worked.
SSDI Payment Schedule for October
The SSDI payment schedule for October includes four different payment dates:
- October 1, 2024: SSI beneficiaries will receive their payment.
- October 3, 2024: Those who receive both SSI and SSDI will get their Social Security payment. Additionally, SSDI recipients who started receiving benefits before May 1997 will also receive their payment on this date.
