Settlement Details
See Tickets, which sells approximately 20 million tickets annually, experienced a data breach in September 2023. The breach reportedly exposed payment card information. Class members may receive up to $2,000 for expenses related to the breach, including bank fees, communication charges, short-term loan interest, credit expenses, and travel costs.
In addition, individuals may claim up to $5,000 from the settlement for extraordinary losses caused by the breach, such as damages from identity theft or fraud. Class members can also choose between three years of free credit monitoring services or a pro-rata payment of up to $100.
California residents who were affected by the breach are eligible for an additional $100, although this amount may be reduced depending on the total number of claims.
Deadlines
The deadline for class members to exclude themselves from the settlement or file objections is September 20. To receive a payment, eligible individuals must submit a valid claim form by October 20, 2024. Proof of losses is required to file a valid claim, including account statements, professional invoices, bills, receipts, loan statements, credit reports, tax documents, and police reports.
