BCSO: Intruder Shot by Homeowner in West Albuquerque Incident
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that took place early Tuesday morning. Deputies responded to a call around 3:45 a.m. concerning an intruder at a residence near Lost Horizon Drive NW.
The homeowner reported shooting the intruder, who was found critically injured upon the deputies’ arrival. The individual was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
