Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Urgently Seeks Help in Finding Two Missing Teens
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office issued an urgent plea to the public last Friday evening for assistance in locating two missing juveniles. The call came around 8:45 p.m. from the 50 Block of E. Lewelling Boulevard in San Lorenzo.
One of the missing teens, Elvis Merino, is a 15-year-old with black hair, brown eyes, and a noticeable birthmark on the right side of his face. At the time of his disappearance, Elvis was wearing a black suit, a pink vest, and black shoes. He stands about 5’3″ and weighs around 110 lbs.
In a social media post shared by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office yesterday, the public was asked to be on high alert for Elvis and to immediately contact 9-1-1 if they had any information. Authorities believe Elvis may be with another missing teen, Michelle Olivas, who disappeared under similarly alarming circumstances.
Michelle Olivas, also 15, has long, straight black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’1″ tall and weighs about 108 lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink dress, a black jacket, black shoes, and carrying a small pink backpack.
The urgency to find both teens has resonated throughout the Alameda County community and beyond, as family, friends, and authorities work tirelessly to locate them. The Sheriff’s Office continues to urge anyone with information about Michelle’s whereabouts to contact law enforcement or dial 9-1-1 immediately.
